05/30/02 Best Shot League

I apologize for anything that happened @ best shot Thursday night. With all the soccer players & chaos going on @ the course, things were crazy. I would never intentionally ignore someone or make them feel unwanted. Hopefully we can resolve any problems, shake hands, & look forward instead of back. Peace to all.

Yes, Adrian did feel slighted, ignored, and hurt that we did not wait. Adrian has supported the club in many ways and has been a dedicated and honest friend to everyone!  We could have waited a little longer, but we had no way of knowing for sure if and when he would be there. Of course we all want to play with Adrian; in my mind, there is no doubt about that. It seems communication was the problem, not necessarily inconsideration;  but I understand how he feels. He is REALLY pissed and told me he is quitting the club immediately.

I, for one, do not want to lose Adrian's friendship, and I am sure I'm not alone. Would those present at Best Shot last night please let him know that we did not mean to slight him in any way.  Tomorrow, after WB, perhaps some of you can join me in a trip over to Adrian's house to personally apologize. Whether he stays with the club or not, he deserves some respect and effort from us. I am exchanging one of the raffle prizes in order to present him with a gift from us, his friends.  Who's with me?

I'm in! Over the short span of time i've known Adrian, he's done a lot of kind things for me & many others. I hope we can resolve the problem & get Adrian back. Club member or not, he's  a great guy & very hard worker!

Yes, very wierd night.  Sorry, I blew up about the soccer people.  I try not to let it affect my game but it is hard when they are kicking a ball 20ft from basket and throwing right at them.  I hope Adrian is not upset, a quick phone call would have helped, we could have waited another 20 minutes.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.
