The offense didn't look too good, but the special teams and defense looks as nice as the standings.  I can't believe Fox couldn't wait another minute before they cut away to the other game.

Green Bay Packers 1 0 0 1.000
Minnesota Vikings 1 0 0 1.000
Detroit Lions 1 0 0 1.000
Chicago Bears 0 1 0 .000

Ha!  I loved thinking about all the pissed off cheeseheads when FOX cut away from that game   :D

The Bears are definitely in solo last place.  I just hope 15 games is enough time to make up this deficit over these 3 juggernauts in our division.   ::)

It's been a while but I look for the Packers to move to 2-0 with a win over the Giants.  If they do, the Pack will have a very nice six game winning streak. Winning six in a row doesn't count in the record book, but it does show that they have improved as a team from their horrible start last year.

GO PACKERS!

off to a great start. the offense finally got it together against a good defense. the question now is are the packers really this good or are the chargers just way overrated?  with this mediocre NFC conference and this crappy north division i think the pack have almost book there spot in the playoffs. fearless prediction: packers win division with a steller 10-6 record.

Packers really need their running game to actually show up and then I think they have a great chance at taking the north.  I wear my packers shirt at work today with great pride (being 1 of 2 packers fans willing to admit they are a packers fan here at least).  If the Vasher/Briggs/Harris injuries are serious enough to take them out for a couple of games, that is going to cripple the Bears for a while.  Unless the Bears do something about Grossman (and find success when doing it), then they have no chance to stay afloat.  Right now their offense cannot support their injured defense, and it leaves the door wide open for the Packers.

The Oct 7th Bears @ Packers game is going to be one interesting game to watch.

I think that the Packers can go better than 10-6 this year.  If you look at the schedule I think they have a good chance of going 12-4. The Packers have all their divisional games, which I think they can go at least 4-2.  Their remaining non-divisonal opponents are: Redskins, Broncos, Chiefs, Panthers Cowboys, Raiders, and Rams. Right now I think  5-2 against this group looks like it is a possiblity. It is tough not to get too excited, it is a long season and many things can happen, but right now is a great time to be a Packer fan.

They do need to develop some type of running game. Hopefully, they can move the ball on the ground against the Vikings.

Favre's playing very good this season. 4-0 woo hoo! :)

Lets not forget about the pesky Lions over the lake. Green Bay plays at detroit on Thanksgiving and Detroit always plays good on Thanksgiving. Hopefully the Lions and the Packers can make this a fun division to watch this year.

I tried to bet with you on this game and I got no responce.

So....Does anyone else want to bet on the Bears and Pakcers for entry fee at IOS#6. If any one wants to bet let me know or PM me. I want the bears plus 3 1/2 points. The 1/2 is so there is no ties. The real spread is only 3. The loser payes for Saturday Advance trophey only entry fee ($18). If anyone taking the bet is playing a different division or not playing trophey only and I lose, you get $18 towards your entry fee. Any takers? Only one bet...first come first serve.  :pottytrain2:

damn i should have taken the bet too!  i knew the packers weren't for real.  the Bears still suck, the Packers just sucked even more last night.  Griese looked alot better in game #2.  Favre looked Grossman-like.

The Bears have not lost at Lambeau field in two years. Why start now? I don't think I have ever watched a 4-0 team self-destruct like the Packers did last night. After watching the first half of that game I said to my self, wow what a stupid bet I made. Then the second half started and half way thru the third quarter I said, wow what a great bet I made. Thanks for the bet Tom. See you at the IOS #6.

you cant blame this loss on brett, and to call him grossman like is way out of line. the guy was like 14-17 for  200+yards in the first half and 2 of those incompetions were spikes to stop the clock b4 half time. that doesnt sound like grossman to me. if your going to blame anybody its got to be coach mcarthy. he was out coached the 2nd half by lovie. and when the opposing team has 2 safteys deep and 7 men in the box (THE WHOLE 2ND HALF) while your up by 10pts and you cant run the ball to secure the win is pathetic. i was ashamed to be a packer fan last night and have to watch that dabacal. mcarthy should be fired.

Let's not overreact discpro, McCarthy didn't cause those three fumbles and Brett's ??? INT. He also did not cause any of the 100 penaties the Packers committed. Granted, his play-calling was not to win, but there were so many other factors of why we lost.

The Packers played horrible football and still hung with the Bears til the last play. They are the youngest team in the league and have time to correct their mistakes.
I need to be consistent....

DiscCrazy

Well I would have to disagree with you about the have time to correct their mistakes. I do not see Brett Farve ever having another great year like the one he is having this year. If the Packers want to make it anywhere in the playoffs, because we all know how good the central division is, then the packers have to fix all mistakes this now. Either way it was by far one of the worst football games as far as penalties and mistakes by both teams that I have see in a long time by either the Bears or the Packers.
