Where can I buy some black lights?

Hey all,

I was doing some research, and I found that UV Blacklights are decent light sources to charge up a glo disc and not hurt your eyes like camera flashes on a disc.  I was curious if anyone knew if any local stores carried various blacklights.  I tried searching on sites like home depot and lowes and stuff like that but didn't really find anything.  I thought maybe a store similar to Hot Topic would carry stuff like that, but I don't shop at Hot Topic and don't really know.  Maybe some novelty stores?

I'm also looking for UV Blacklight keychains.  I know that they make them, and there are some cheap kinds and some expensive kinds.  I was hoping to find a local store that sold the cheap kind so that I could try it out and see how well it energized a Glo Disc.

I know that LED's are a great way to play glow disc golf, but I have some glow discs in stock now and wanted to sell stuff that could charge them well. On top of that a LED + charged glow disc = found disc if the LED manages to pop off the disc after whacking a tree.

thx!

I have a blacklight lantern that runs off of 8 D cells but has 2 6: blacklight tubes inside it, I'm sure we could come to some kind of agreement for it.

Otherwise Spencers is your best bet (thats where I got the lantern a long time ago).

That's where I got mine as well but it is just one 6" blacklight tube. It lights up glow stuff most excellently.

Interesting site... I can't even search on the site because work blocks it... but I was able to browse to their blacklight stuff.  they have a 12" blacklight that runs on 8 AA's, interesting how technology has changed for power requirements and such.

I'd be interested in using that lantern though.  I might pick up something of my own as well.  I just don't know when I can get up to Gurnee before the 10th!

Thx for the info!
