Website and stuff

Hey there, users of the club website!

I have accepted a job offer and have resigned my current job as of the 21st. I have an upgraded Internet connection on order for my home, so my server will be moving from underneath my desk to my house.

There's a possibility that the club site may be inaccessible for a week or two, if the new service isn't installed in time. I'll know more as the days/weeks progress.

Thanks Chris. Oddly enough, the new job is in Schaumburg.... so I'll be driving roughly the same distance every day.

Yeah, it would be nice to get some traffic on our site. Most of our members are not using this wonderful communication tool at this time. Please use it!!

sorry for that brief downtime. I was putting a new hard drive in my server so I can back up personal stuff from work before I leave.

Next planned downtime is scheduled for 11/16 when I bring the server home.

Planned downtime for this evening is still on, pending the outcome of my new internet service installation today.
It should take up to 24 hours for the address change to propagate thru the internet.

The site will be going down around 5PM today. Server should be back online this evening sometime & fully available by this time tomorrow.

First off, thanks for all the work moving and maintaining the site Mirth.  I did get a Page Cannot be Displayed error about 45-60 min ago for less about 2-3 min.  Not complaining, but you asked.

Yeah, that was me troubleshooting connectivity issues from my server to other places on the internet.
