Favre is 0-8 @Dallas.  I see this one 24-20 Dallas.

Are you willing to bet on that score? Or is anyone else willing to bet on the game. Maybe just a friendly bet of $20? The current line is Dallas -7. I will take Dallas if anyone wants Green Bay. Here's your chance to get your $20 back Tom. ;D

I don't know about playoffs, but Favre hasn't played in Dallas since when, something like 1999?  That was the most recent game I could find - 11/14/1999.  0-8 is a meaningless statistic just as much as me saying the last time the Packers played the Cowboys the Packers won 41-20 in Lambeau.  It's a different year, different players.  I'm cautiously optimistic about tonight's game, but overall really, I'm going to try to enjoy tonight (please let the officials call the game decently), and I'm going to enjoy the rest of the Packers season.

A win for GB tonight I think means clinching a tie for 1st, kinda nice to get that wrapped up in week 13 :)

We get to find out what the Pack will look without Favre. Who goes in if Rogers gets hurt?

Packers gave it a run. Rogers hit the underneath routes & the YAC was in effect. Had Favre not been throwing the deep ball maybe the result would have been different.

the Pack could not stop Romo watsoever.  On the bright side for GB, Dalllas had a rough time stopping the Packers except for the times that Favre did it for them.  The Cowboys are clearly the class of the NFC.

I enjoyed watching the game, although I really would like to see a rematch where the packers have their defensive guys back (ESPECIALLY Charles Woodson) and also have Brett for the full game.  Going to be one crazy championship game if things continue as they are right now.

I can't wait to watch this *probable* rematch in the playoffs.....  Looks like the road to the Super Bowl will go though Texas Stadium...

Lets not forget how good Romo was last year and his no hand magee act when he funmle the feild goal snap last year. Yeah i know he is not the holder anymore and yes the Cowbows are a ton better but Romo still has to prove he can play in the playoffs. I do hope to see the remach myself and think the game would have been a lot different if Farve played the way he has been playing all year.

Very nice to see Brett receive the SI Sportsman of the Year Award.  Great choice and a very nice article. It is nice to see a football player win the award, it doesn't happen very often.

0-2 vs the Bears this year !!!

The Pack looked like they had their minds on Christmas shopping
rather than the game.

Maybe Brett F should have kept his mouth shut about
Bear qb's - everyone in the NFL knows you shouldnt
pi$$ off Kyle Orton.

good luck at Dallas where Farve is 0-9. ( if you get that far)

Da Bears !!!!!

Hah, I knew this would be coming from someone at some point.  Congratulations Lovie, you succeeded at your primary goal - defeating the Packers.  Perhaps you'd like to elevate winning the Super Bowl to your primary goal at some point.

Oh yeah, Kyle Orton completely *obliterated* the Packers.  8 for 14 with 101 yards and a TD.  Phenomenal numbers.  Keep it up man, 1st string all the way.

Props to the Bears special teams.  They are the main reason for the Bears victory.  I wanted to go out there and pummel those guys myself watching that stuff get blocked.  I don't know who screwed it up for the Packers, but they need to fix that.

Kinda glad that the Packers will have to go to Dallas - taking the weather elements out of it is good practice for the neutral setting of Arizona.  Good luck to the Packers, hope they make it there.

As for the Bears... well, enjoy the games from the couch this year.

i attended this past sunday's bears-pack game and man was that a blast.  of course, i am not a very bright man, but damn that was fun.  probably the third coldest game i've ever been to, and did i mention there was a slight wind coming in from the west.
i took a die-hard packer fan (and newby disc golfer) who lives in colorado to the game, and we sat in the south end zone.  we had a wager (dinner) on the game.  we were both feeling so sure about the outcome that while dining at gibson's the night before (it was my birthday), i went ahead and picked up the check, anticipating a shellacking of the bears.  now my buddy has to reimburse me for the dinner i picked up and he owes me one to boot.  he's taking me to lambeau this sunday for the packers finale against detroit.  i think we'll be hitting favre's steakhouse post-game.  it'll be porterhouse and martini time...
anyhow, good luck to those in the playoffs, and to everyone else:  there is always next year (unless you root for the cubs).
have the good fun.

Because if they had made the playoffs I was going to be enjoying the games from the sideline?

sorry, that was in reference to the men that are already on the sidelines currently for the Bears.  Should read: "as for the Bears players..."

@#$^@#$%^@#$%@#!$%#^ The packers game is going to be Sat, Jan 12th at 3:30.  That's the same day as the Ice Bowl Tournament!

Guess I'm going to have to see if I can find something to get that signal in while I'm waiting for everyone to come in from playing the second round!
