oops, yeah, Marcos - I was a space cadet during that trophy ceremony trying to get ready for the onslaught of customers.  It hurt not having my wife there to help.  All I need is $3000 and the checkout process will go a lot faster

I know this may seem that I'm biased here, but as far as points are concerned, wouldn't we both get the same amount of points for tying in regulation? Just thinking about the way the PDGA points are done, but either way is fine with me in the end.

On the same note, ties for other spots were given the same amount of points as well.

for what its worth i believe that they should have the same amount of points...
Firstly they made the same score during regulation and typically the playoff is for a trophy  or money. If i am correct, in most events ties count as ties in the points standings.

Per PDGA processes, all ties are the same, except for first place. First place ties are always resolved so that there is a distinct first and second.

Here is an example of a PDGA tourney that ended in a tie in the Rec. division.

Fair enough! I didn't know it was that way in the past for PDGA events, but as long as it's consistent then it doesn't really matter.

Channahon winter tourney is a great idea... We were trying to get frank to do one this winter... so this is perfect.. Plus Channahon will draw in players..

sanctioning agreement went in tonight for the Channahon tournament, still need to send Frank an email to discuss plans further, should be fun conclusion to the series.

Definitely don't want to overlook the abominable snowman though!  I think I'll actually be able to play in that one   I love to play Madison Meadows too.  Just no insane winds please!

Madison Meadows is in Lombard, correct.  The event is C-Tier sanctioned.  It's listed on PDGA.com right now.

Channahon Tournament is now B-TIER!!

Please do help us out!  We're looking for more cash sponsors - wouldn't it be great to have the numbers be even higher than a $500 pro added cash payout???  Get your name on our flyers, mentioned at the players meeting, and who knows what else!

How much money to get a sponorship status?

$10 - get your name on the flyer and any other list of sponsors distributed (website, etc) - list will be sorted by dollar value, highest on top.
$20+ - get everything at the $10 level as well as your name mentioned during the player's meeting and any other perk I might come up with.

Cash equivalent items can be given away as CTP's, but right now I'm trying to focus on helping get that pro purse up there!  Any cash sponsorships I would greatly appreciate receing the sponsorship money at least a week before the tournament.  The less I have to worry about the week before the event the better!

Obviously sponsorships can be greater than the amounts listed here, and I certainly wouldn't turn down stuff brought in the same day of the event.  Cash can also be used and turned into Rob 'em Rewards dollars sponsorships on CTP's.
