Josh, a few friends, and myself will be visiting a friend near Ann Arbor over Labor Day.

We'll obviously be playing their "famous" courses, but what other good courses in the area should we play? Brakels, Brett, any suggestions? ;)

Thanks.

Kyle,

The Original & Monster at Ann Arbor are enough to take up a whole weekend. 2- 24 hole courses with long and short tees. I've only played the Monster but really liked it. I have not played the other 2 courses in Ann Arbor.

Another course that I don't think is too far away from Ann Arbor is Cass Benton Recreation Area in Northville, MI. This was one of the course that I really liked. It has a wide variety of terrain.

Another course I liked was (Detroit)Kensington. Very nice course with short & long tees. That doesn't look like it would be too far from Ann Arbor.

This course is no where near Ann Arbor but if you get a chance, it's well worth the trip. Flip City Disc Golf Park- Shelby, MI  Best course by far that i've played to date.

Hope that helps

I don't know what your time constraints are or how many courses you are going to play, but I recommend starting at Hudson Mills and playing both the original and the Monster. Pick the tees you want to play, no need to really play both sets of tees unless you really want to. If you have time check out Cass Benton and Kensington. Kensington was my favorite all time course until I played Flip City. Now nothing else comes close, but the ones I listed are worth playing. The other courses in Ann Arbor are skippable. Don't go down to Adrian to play, the course isn't ready yet.
