Jim did you know Good Omens was set to be a movie.. They had the script finished and actors in mind (Robin Williams and Johnny Depp) but the project is currently stalled due to lack of funding. Heres the project info anyways though...

Production Company: Samuelson Productions (Tom & Viv), Renaissance Films (The Reckoning, The Safety of Objects, The Luzhin Defence), Atlas Entertainment (Rollerball, Scooby-Doo, 12 Monkeys)

Director: Terry Gilliam (Brazil, The Fisher King, 12 Monkeys, Time Bandits, Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas)

Screenwriter: Terry Gilliam (cowriter of most of the Monty Python movies, Time Bandits, Jabberwocky, The Adventures of Baron Munchausen, Brazil), Tony Grisoni (Queen of Hearts; cowriter of Fear and Loathing in Las Vegas)

Filming: Production had been scheduled to start in England in the summer of 2002 on a budget of $70 million (moved back a bit from a possible March, 2002 start), but those plans have been scrapped as work begins anew on "major script surgery" to cut the budget down nearly 50% to just $40 million.
