Man, I climb trees all the time to get discs. Then again, I've been climbing trees since I was 5 years old and I'm pretty familiar with what is safe and what isn't, but I guess accidents can happen. This won't stop me from climbing but I will take more precaution.

I tried climbing some redwoods when I was out in California in December, their bark is huge and gives you plenty of grip but it is quite flaky so I didn't go too high. I wonder what happened with this guy.
