I threw my pink Champion Monarch in yesterday off of 19 just east passed the "no drowning in our pond" sign about six feet in.  it has my name, email, and number on it.  what's great about that is directly after looking it in the beautiful greyish-brown water, my brother walked back up and threw his Star beast in about 20 feet up (between the cluster of trees about 10 feet in.  it's green or blue, I believe.  So that was a 35 dollar round.  so if someone goes in and finds them please let me know. i got a few bucks towards the cause.

Also,  this morning in the field between 18 and 19 (hard RHBH hyzer from either tee pads) I found a Discraft XL with no markings.  If you lost it contact me with color and plastic and I would be more than happy to get it back to you.  it's david_durov at yahoo dot com.  that's all this time.

Keep on chucking!

wouldn't be surprised if you'd find a lot of those at a nearby play it again sports or a place like that... I know that there is one on north ave... maybe near 83?  that might be a little too far away from Madison Meadows.  People are down in that pond all the time it seems like.

I forced my throw on three and chucked my DX Valk into the middle last night.  :'(

The worst part about losing it, is that any replacement I get from the merch table at IOS#5 won't be beat in yet. If someone is out at IOS#5 on Friday and wants to trade in their slight-to-moderate beat DX Valk for a new one, find me. We might be able to make a deal.

Rules to break in a disc (as learned at the River Cities Rumble last year):

take disc. find tree. stand back 5 feet, chuck.  repeat.

I knew a pro in Michigan who would buy a particular disc new and give them to a jr. to beat in. When they were beat in he'd buy them from the jr. for $5 each. As time went by the jr. was getting pretty good and he didn't want to be throwing this particular disc all the time just to get it beat in but he also didn't want to lose the money. The jr. knew that the pro wanted them back when the bead on this particular disc was about half worn. So, he took that year's "crop" to his Dad's work bench and put them on the lathe. Turned them around in 3 days! I'm sure the pro knew but he didn't "KNOW" so everything cool!!  ;D
