'About Discontinuum' section, 4th bullet point: 'Coming soon, a link to a bulletin board!!'

And then, on the membership page:

where it says 'Click Here to fill out the membership app', do we just not have an app yet, or should this be a hyperlink to somewhere?

Also, something Ken & I were just talking about...

In the fine print, AKA: Best Shot Rules, it states that each person gets one point for showing plus one point for each team they beat. But, if you add the points up the way they are now, each person gets 2 points for showing plus one point for each _person_ they beat.

Which is supposed to be correct?

Mirth, ol boy -

Thanks!  I will fix the "About DISContinuum" Bulletin Board link info ASAP.

And we do have a Membership App page, but I'm in the middle of making a new, instant-register form, and another form for registering for our tourneys and events.  Should be done in a few days.

jim

Days and dates are only for those rooted in this dimension.  I float through time and space, so please forgive me if I sometimes get confused.  I'll fix it.  THANKS!

jim

I was wondering about that discrepancy.  Thanks for the clarification - we will change our lingo!  :-)

I'll have to read he two versions and make them consistent;  i thught they were.  Shows how much I know. The plain truth:  I get all the points and money and fame and glory.  And women.  And discs.  I get it all because I want it all.  Now.  Really.

OK. Not really.  Each PERSON gets one point for showing up. Each PERSON gets two points for each team his/her team beats. If you beat a California (Midwest) player, you have beaten a team, so you would get two points plus the one point for showing up.  For example, if your team beats 3 other teams, each member of that winning team gets 7 points each total.

I wil go over all the scores for this Spring 2002 league and make sure they are correct.  Or at least in my favor.  :-)

jim

I believe the correct link is on the bottom the the index2 page.  I'll find and update the rest this weekend.  Thanks for the comp BC!

Hi Jim,

If your meeting is on Thursday, the date is Jan 31st and not the 30th - just to clear any confusion.

Jimbo,

From the link that explains all the leagues (Best Shot, Juniors, etc.) it states that the cost for Best Shot is $6 with an optional ace pool of $1. But on the page with the Best Shot scores, it says that the cost is $5 with an optional $1 ace pool. Which may explain why everyone is paying $6 a week, and why I paid $7 yesterday.

It could also be that I am just plain reading it wrong. After all, my literary skills ARE a product of the Texas educational system.

To whoever is doing the Discontinuum website now:

I was trying to find the UW Parkside club/course web page. The link on the "links" page is to the UW page, which doesn't have much on it. I thought Jim did another website for the Parkside club that had more info on it, and didn't use the UW server. Maybe I'm just hallucinating again. Anyway, if someone has the website of the Parkside club/course, could you please post it. I'll remember to save it this time.

Many spanks.

The se WI site has no affiliation with the Darkside.  The club has a nice looking new site that was just started by some students that enjoy the game http://www.uwp.edu/admin/union/discgolf/home.html check it out it is very crisp looking.  I really like the uw disc golf logo on the left top corner.
