There is a color picture of Jim today on the front page of the Chicago Tribune business section, along with an accompanying article, and not one mention of disc golf.  What the hell! I don't think anyone would guess in a million years what Jim is associated with, without reading the article.

I actually DID try to get disc golf in that awful article.
The writer had never heard of it and thought I was crazier than I am.

Mixing was a very short-term thing for me.
Now I prefer to drink UNmixed beer.
My favs:

Lakefront Brewery's Cream City and IPA
Central Waters' Happy Heron Pale Ale
New Glarus' Staghorn and Totally Naked

What are YOUR favorite ales and lagers, folks?

Ginger and, uh ... does scotch count?

Speaking of New Glarus, what about Spotted Cow?

Spotted Cow 0wns. Goose 312 is a close second. Can't get it here, but Jupiler is a great everyday beer.
Don't forget your towel!

Chainmeister

Duff!   Mmmmm. Beer.

As far as non animated brews (but one that should be) how about Delerious Tremens?  Its the espresso of beers.  Drink small doses as its high in alcohol content.

I love IPAs to death,  may favs:

Avery Maharaja
Jolly Pumpkin Le Lusergne (sp?) "The Firefly"
Dogfish head 90 Min.

working at a liquor store is very dangerous this time of year, all the harvest and now holiday ales are coming in.  Super Awesome.

Only single malt, Kurt!    ;D

New Glarus rocks, but I find Spotted Cow to be almost exactly like Hamms.
They make some heavy stuff too, like the Uff-Da and Smokehouse Porter; they are like drinking a steak.

Now Lakefront in Milwaukee not only has some fine beers, but a great tour!
Have you ever gone on a tour of Miller or Bud?
You pay your money, take the tour, then get a free beer, right?
At Lakefront, you pay, you get a free beer, you start the tour and get a fresh beer.
Halfway through the tour, they stop and let you get another beer.
After the tour, which is really fun and entertaining, you get - yep - another beer.
4 beers and a fun tour for $6.
If you don't drink, they make a killer maple syrup cream soda.

I'm thinking about playing leagues Sunday.
I'll make sure to bring some beer samples for anyone interested.
