The 2009 DISContinuum Winter League is going to be played on 3 different courses on a rotating basis so I thought I would get this information out early. We are looking for ways to increase the player base, hopefully switching up courses will bring out so new and some familiar faces. Attached is a flyer.

DISContinuum 2009 Winter League will rotate between Grayslake, Warren Township, and Adler Park.

Week 2 December 28 Warren
Week 3 January 4 Adler
Week 4 January 11 Grayslake
Week 5 January 18 Warren
Week 6 January 25 Adler

Teams chosen at 9:55 AM
Tee-off at 10:00 AM

Fee is $5.00. Ace Pot $1.00 CTP $1.00 Club/Prize Fee $1.00 Upper and lower pool random draw doubles. As this is a winter league, all holes will be played from concrete tees. There will not be any alternate holes.  Scores will be posted on a weekly basis on the DISContinuum.org website.

Grayslake will meet near the football field.
Warren Township will meet at the back parking lot near tee #4.
Adler will meet at the back parking lot near tee #1.

Correct me if I'm wrong but in previous winters I believe warren township hasn't plowed the road through the woods and in fact piles snow in the road so people don't drive back there.....

I thought it was plowed.  I believe they remove all the speed bumps so that they can plow.  Either way, the dates are correct. Check back to this area for updates.

Man i would love to be one of those new faces that attends your winter league, especially cause i havent played any of those courses  however, the closest park is adler at 28 miles. I dont know if i could muscle up and wake up that early to make it out on time. I suppose it would be worth it to try . We are supposed to bring $8 every time right?

You can play for $6.00 if you like. The breakdown is as follows:

$1.00 League Expenses/End of League Prizes
$1.00 CTP  Closest to the Pin
$1.00 Ace Fund
$5.00 for doubles. 

You don't have to get in the Ace Fund or the CTP. The Ace Fund is currently at $65.00

They do not plow the parking lot at Grayslake. The best place to park is at the end of the road. To get there pass the entrance to the parking lot and the road dead ends into a circle there are parking spaces around the edge of the circle. I will be out shoveling at 8:30 if anyone wants to help.

well tom and me did the tees but when we were done it started snowing which suxed but what can u do and dont forget meeting at mitchs after leagues which will be around 12:30
