Are there any plans for an end-of-season bring your own partner doubles tournament?
As of right now, we're planning on November 1st. It will be a bring your own partner doubles tournament. We will do two rounds, one during the afternoon, a break for dinner, then a glow round. We'll look at offering two different divisions as well. There will also be a longest drive and putting contest.

Like Machete said, more details to come soon!

Glow tonight. Drawing cards at 7:00. It's should be a nice night. Mid 50's with no wind.

We'll be changing the starting time of glow tomorrow to 6:00. Please bring your own lights as we do not have any more.

Cracker & Scott,
Leagues will start after the time change, and I will post here once they resume.

Cracker,
2009 will be our second year as a club. The membership is $15, and you'll get a bag tag, a stash mini and a dollar off league night. Our home course is Shady Oaks, however, last year made the course unplayable for two weeks, so we had our regular leagues at Randall Oaks. Our league format is random draw doubles, and alternate between 4 different tees (regular, alternate, long, and short). We have an ace pool, birdie club, educe holes, and weekly CTP's. We have a monthly meeting after league at The Chicago Loop, which is right across the street.

23 people last night. Matt Polich and Morgan Fredericks beat Juan Lopez and Elmo is a playoff after both groups shot a 12 down. Brad Seagert took the CTP on hole 2 to take home a bottom stamped Teebird.

The course is now dry, however, some of the teepads are still a problem. Getting the park district to fill the pads with woodchips by saturday probably won't happen. We have been having MAJOR issues with the Parks and Recreation lady, but we have a meeting with the Streamwood Board on Tuesday to try and resolve our issues with the course. I know this doesn't help out for Saturday, but we've now gone over the P&R lady's head, and have the President of the Streamwood Board of directors promising us cement teepads by the end of the year. We'll see how that goes....

Garbage cans were removed from the course for winter, and have yet to be replaced. Sean Butler was out there for a few hours yesterday and filled about 4 garbage bags full of trash. Before leagues last night, I saw one of the PD workers, and begged him to get the rest of the trash picked up before Saturday. It's not horrible, just a little embarrassing. I had a couple members last night saw that they would come out later in the week and help with some of the trash removal as well.

Now, we have a hole that we play every week for leagues, that isn't a regular hole on the course. After playing 13 (up by the playground), we walk along the sidewalk and throw down to 11's basket. It's a really great hole, and we were wondering if this was a hole that could be played on saturday.

BTW, Bartlett's teepads are in pretty poor shape too, but the rest of the course is in good shape as well.

Since Saturday will be a full field of players, it's not really possible to use one target for two different holes.
