Working weekends is killing me! Would you play in a Friday sanctioned event?

If there was an event scheduled for this summer on a FRIDAY, would you consider attending?

The Club Invite has been on a Friday for a few years and has drawn about 30-50 players as I recall.

Depending on location I would consider playing.

When I ran the first Sturgeon Full Moon on a Tuesday I seriously expected we'd have 12 players.  I think we had 35. 

The more successful weekday sanctioned tournaments have had really low entry fees.  I think when players are burning a vacation day, they don't want to spend a lot of money too.  The expensive Z-Boaz mid-week tournament never seemed to draw very well.

only if it was an A-tier and it was 2-3 days.  Otherwise I work on friday and not going to request off a day for a 1 day event.

it would depend on location for me - I agree with the lower entry fee - and I think it would really help if it was scheduled during summer.  Maybe if you could get in contact with people that are high school or college aged - yes some of them would be working as well.  But if you price it well and convince them to spread the word, you could get a lot of high school and college age attendance as well since they would be on break.... wish I could have a summer break...
