If Crystal Lake is too far for some people to drive to after work, I'm also going to be running leagues at Willow Stream in Buffalo Grove on Monday nights. Spring leagues start Monday, March 9th. 5:00PM tee off. $5 to play (that includes $1 to the ace pot) and optional $2 CTP.

I will probably change the format a little for summer league after I get some input from the players during the spring.

Fox Valley usually runs a dubs league on Wednesday nights that starts some time in late April.

Last year the FV leagues was on Mondays, alternating between Jericho Lake in Aurora & Eagle Ridge in Oswego.  In 2008, we started the seconde Monday in April & we'll probably do the same thing this year.  We also had a once-a-month singles round on a Thursday.

Unfortunetly I cannot continue running Wednesdays at Warren this year. It would be nice if someone else can get a Wednesday night league going in the area this summer.

rockford leagues are sunday mornings and kirklands are sunday evenings( if kirkland starts up the league again)

there is also an NIU disc golf club that is recognized as a school club. they meet once a month, for now, but will probably start meeting more frequently with the warmer weather. the leagues are played between dekalb and kirkland. ill post more when i get their next email. 


this doesnt pertain to legues, but when i shot rockford the other day the rockford newspaper was there taking pictures and doing an article about discgolf, i spoke with them briefly about the sport and had some photos taken. the woman that is doing this is new to the paper and wants people to see everything rockford has to offer including disc golf.

just letting folks know dekalb leagues are friday at 4pm and kirklands are sunday at 3pm. there is a sign posted at dekalbs course with this info. 5 bucks at either place with a 2 dollar ace pool.

when i shot kirkland about 5 days ago there was hundreds of dead fish everywhere and it stunk horribly, i havent been back to see if its been cleaned up or not. so go there at your own risk.

Round Lake Thursday nights 5:00--5:15 start until we get more sunshine....eventually a 6:00 start later in the season.

Saturdays supposedly start at 11:00.  Usually starts closer to 11:15.
