There will be overall series points along with overall series awards.  Overall points will be based on the top 6 scores out of 9 events for AM's and the top 4 out of 7 events for Pro's.

More details to come out quickly...

Nice work in helping to bring this many tournaments to the local scene Scott.  Its always great to have PDGA tourneys in close proximity and it definitely helps grow the competitive disc golf scene locally.

I definitely have Oswego, Libertyville, West Park, and Sinnissippi circled on my calendar.  Hopefully I'll make as many of the others as possible.  Looking forward to a fun year of disc golf!

REGISTRATION FOR IRISH YOU THE BEST OF LUCK IS NOW ONLINE!

If you pre-register please be sure to post on here (at least the first couple of people).  I'm using a new system with Google Checkout (since it allows me to create a generic cart quickly), and you can sign up multiple people (eventually multiple tournaments once more of the pre-registrations are online) as well as add sponsorships.  However, I can't test it because it would require me to go through the process of charging my credit card as well.  It says it will automatically send me an email once a payment comes in, but only time will tell...

We max at 105 people per day, and I will NOT add additional holes.

Visit www.paperorplasticsports.com and click Upcoming Tournaments to see the full calendar and register for your events!

No women or age-protected divisions?

Nevermind, I found it. It helps to look. Sorry, I'm an idiot.

I received your registration Matt - thanks!  You'll get a "shipping" notification once I have your name on the PDGA website.  Hopefully you had no problems with shipping or tax information.  I told it that it would not have sales tax, but wasn't sure what the settings were for shipping!  It all looks like it worked out just fine though.  Thanks for being my guinea pig :)

Thanks,

all fixed Dana, thanks for pointing that out!  It was only incorrect for the person who was selecting the first item (so MPO for both current and non current PDGA members).

104 spots available for Saturday.
100 spots available for Sunday.

Scott,
Are you going to offer a masters divsion and if so on what day ?

I can't speak for all of the tournaments (some of them are AM-only, for example), but for the upcoming Irish You the Best of Luck I'm offering all Pro Divisions (Open Men, Open Women, Masters, Grandmasters) on Sunday, March 29th.  Just a note: it's the Open Men division that will see the added cash for the event though.  You might want to keep that in mind.  If I get over $500 of sponsorships, then I'll start distributing to the other open divisions, but this year the pipeline has been VERY small.

You can visit my calendar page http://www.paperorplasticsports.com/tournaments.html
And for each tournament if you click Info - you'll be able to find out what divisions are offered as well as what days. (specific information for tournaments after May is still up in the air).

For those of you who will be at the club challenge and want to play at the Channahon tournament the following weekend, I will be at the Club challenge accepting pre-registrations.  You can save $5 by pre-registering!  $50 for Open, $30 for AM's, $20 for Juniors when you pre-reg.

So far I have 9 people for Saturday and 20 people signed up for Sunday.  I also have some additional verbal commitments for both days.  It should be a good turnout both days!

Adv/Rec/Jr divisions play Saturday.
Open/Int/Nov divisions play Sunday.

B-TIER.  March 28th and 29th.  Channahon.  See me at the Club Challenge to pre-reg!

scott how do you do ams playing pro and cashing.  do they recieve all of there payout in funeymoney.. thanks

stpitner

Last year I only had one am play pro and cash - he received the same amount in funny money as he would have received in cash.  Since I have only had one person do this so far I haven't thought about it too much, but I would anticipate keeping it the same this year.  There's also a spot in the TD report where I have to report am's that play pro and take merch instead of cash.  I would make sure to enter that.  There could be a potential for a large amount of merch payout with the added $500 cash to the pro purse.  It might be worthwhile to go for it since you have a good rating to go for it.

24 on Saturday, 32 on Sunday - pre-reg and save a couple bucks - Pre-Reg closes Friday morning at 10AM!

I plan on driving out to Channahon at some point on Friday - mainly to figure out what the 21st hole will be depending on what course conditions look like.  If you have a Chainstar or equivalent basket and can bring it for one or both days, please let me know.  Right now I'm going to either use my Chainstar and two DISCatcher sports or a Chainstar, one DISCatcher Sport, and the practice basket.

Since there are now 10 concrete long tee pads, we will definitely play one round using the longs on both days.  I do not know if it is 1st or 2nd round yet (might be 1st).
