Year-End Club Meeting and 2003 Elections!!!

The final club meeting for the fiscal year 2002 will be on Sunday, December 8th at approximately 1pm at Pizza Hut on Sunset & Lewis in Waukegan, IL.

We will be holding elections and voting for the following positions:

President (second term for Jim Klem, incumbant)

Vice President (new position, term of one year, 2 terms maximum)

Treasurer (second term for Paul Christensen, incumbant)

Operations Committee (3 available positions, term of one year,

     current officers are Al Gutierrez, Bill Conover, and Brett Comincioli).

Webmasters (2 positions, one year terms), currently held by Allan Short and Jim Klem)



At this time, the following members have been nominated for officers' positions:

Paul Christensen

Brett Comincioli

Allan Short

Jon Brakel

Becky Brakel

Myk Deardorf

Jason Hany

Jay Neirodzik

Shawn Fallon



For this upcoming election, you may vote for ANY current club member, whether nominated or not. Nominations are open until Saturday, November 16th, 2002 at 11:30pm.



PLEASE PLAN ON ATTENDING THIS MEETING!

PLEASE come out and VOTE!!!

If you can only support your club in a small way, please make sure you make it out to vote on December 8th!  We are working on providing absentee ballots if necessary.  Please ask any and all questions before you cast your vote.

Also, we will be presenting awards for Autumn Best Shot League as well as other recognitions.  I look forward to a big turnout and a lot of fun! We have a lot to celebrate - we've had a great year!

Ballots will be accepted until Wednesday, Dec. 11th at 9pm.  Results will be published soon after that.

If any current club member did NOT receive a ballot and wants to vote, please email or call me.

PDGA affiliate club membership stuff?



If there is time...For those that have PDGA ballots, I'd like you to bring them to the meeting and let me talk about the constitution changes and the yes/no vote. Not very long, it'd only take a couple of minutes. BTW, if for some reason you are not renewing your membership you can still vote. Last year about 500 PDGA members voted, so YOUR vote does count. In fact, I probably only need about 14 write-in votes to be elected state coordinator. I use that figure just to illustrate how much of a difference you can make by voting in the PDGA elections.
