22nd Channahon Classic - Sept 26th/27th - B-TIER

The 22nd Channahon Classic is confirmed and scheduled to be on September 26th and 27th.

Adv / Rec / Jr divisions play Saturday
Pro / Int / Nov divisions play Sunday.

Pro-B/Am-B tier event!  Minimum $500 added cash to Pro Open purse!

No idea how many holes there will be.  I would expect at least 21.  I need to coordinate with Frank to see what other kind of places we can stick some extra holes and not just have them there for the sake of having a hole.

Registration will be online shortly after the conclusion of the Sinnissippi tournament.

I'll hopefully have fliers for all of my upcoming events available at Sinnissippi.

no, Hamilton is still going on - this was the only weekend we could get to work with Channahon's schedule with Cross Country and stuff going on there.  I don't like competing against other events, but I think there's a large enough player base to make both events successful.

I lowered the entry fees across the board by $5.  Be sure to pre-register and get the lowest price!  You still get $15 reward dollar player packs (AM's), and everything else should be the same look and feel similar to any of my other tournaments.

I will be at the Oswego Handicap Leagues 8/13 if you want to pre-reg there.

So far we are at $60 of the minimum goal of $500 added cash to the pro purse.  Thanks to all of you who showed your support with the 50/50 CTP's!  If you would like to sponsor this event, on the registration page there is a way to show your support.  You do not have to sign up for the event in order to be a sponsor.

We should both be playing INT Spuds anyway based on time we've played this game.

I just keep getting worse apparently or everyone else is getting better.

Might help if I played a round more than once every two weeks.

Did skip work and played Channy last week.  Definitely thinking about making my first venture into intermediate out there

in a couple of weeks.

there will be 3 temp holes following hole 18.  People that have played this year's March tournament know 2 of them, and if you played last year's March tournament you know all 3.  The first one is a long shot straight through a fairly wide tunnel of trees.  If you go too far right you're going to find trouble.  I may put the basket at the base of the hill instead of on the hill, we'll see.  After that you have another shot around trees where the basket is very reachable, but there is an OB path (on/over) 15 feet away from the basket.  The last temp hole I'll probably have you tee from the path that plays to the baseball field with a really tight OB line close to the basket.  It's not quite an island hole, but it's close.

Yeah I know those holes.  Hopefully they'll be easier when it's not 10 degrees out.

I know I putted OB down the hill one of the rounds on the 2nd one and took the circle 4.
