He missed putts on 17 and 14 as well.  He kept it together really well.  That kid has worked his ass off this year (really the past few years).

It was cool to see him park 16 with a Buzz I traded him and then he threw it on 18 off the tee.
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

Why were the scores so much lower on Saturday?  No wind?  Nikko is far from an underdog winner.  He has ascended to the top tier of players earlier this year and I would not be suprised to see him completely take over this game in the next couple years.  He lives, eats, and breathes this game.  Anthon with a huge scoop up the leaderboard to cash out 3rd place $4,000.  2nd place Words and 3rd Place USDGC.  Pretty good year.

Is Nikko worthy of Player of the Year?  I believe he won the NT Points, correct?  Plus the Memorial which is almost like a Major.  Then USDGC.  He was 1st or 2nd in over half the events he played this year.

I watched all day. Between the video of  (1,2,3,5,6, 17, & 18), the dots, the updated individual score cards, and the pdga live scoring this coverage was by far the best.

As it was all playing out I didn't think Anthon had a chance but he just kept shredding it. It would have been sweet if he could have stuck his first shot in for 2 on #17. Although i'm not a fan of Nikko i'm glad he beat Feldberg. I give some props to Nikko. He missed his first putt on #1 and had a nasty roll away and banged the putt. He missed another very makeable putt on #3. I thought he was going to blow up. At that point he was 4 back of Feldberg. I give the kid credit for keeping it together.

I don't know what it is, but I really can't stand the Nikko kid. He is a great player, but I just don't like his attitude and I really wish he wouldn't have won. The internet broadcast was an intersting experience though. Improvement could definately be used, but it was great either way. Maybe for next year, if they still have it they will be able to follow the lead group hole by hole that would be great.

There was very little wind on the course Saturday.

Nikko did win the NT Points and got a $2000 check on top of his $15000 payout. Nice weekend!

I would vote for him as player of the year. This topped it off.

I thought last year they abolished voting for POY and ROY, and instead adopted some kind of objective formula.  (Because the previous year it seemed pretty clear who should win FROY, and then it was won by the wife of a member of the Board of Directors!)

Could be wrong, but I heard the grass was not cut on Saturday morning...Believe it or not, that definitely helps things out
