Hey, was that Chud's blue disc about 30' from shore on 5 or mine?
Don't forget your towel!

mirth

Yeah.... it sucks watching my disc slowly slip into a cold watery grave... :(
Don't forget your towel!

mirth

Yup. thats it... buried under ice & snow.

Adrian, you ROCK!

How far out in the water were the discs you recovered? I lost a blue CE Z-Xtra about 40' from shore by the willows at the tee side of 5 this winter and a tyedye Sandy Point hotstamp disc this fall (a week after I got it! bummer....) about 10-20' out from the bench on 5.

Both should have my name marked on them.

I sacrificed my neon yellow/green Q-JLS to the water gods on 9 on Sunday after the safari holes... We had just wrapped things up (which I won the safari holes- came down to a putting contest) and decided to throw 9 since we couldn't all day. Damn those soccer players! :)

Anyhow, I threw too high & the unusual Easterly wind dropped me about 15 feet offshore towards the middle from the bridge.

When are we gonna recruit a scuba diver?

The Wreck of the Edmund Discgerald . . . . . . . . .

Sorry.  The only reason I can laugh is because I have a JLS, and LS, and at least one Dragon in the same spot.  After it warms a bit (and before the Fishing Derby), I have a trolling net and some hip boots which I plan on using to retrieve all our lost plastic . . . . . . .

jim

There are no meat by-products which cannot be found in the ghettos of Indonesia . . . . . .

Mike Trigg told me yesterday that they need to fix the piping for the pond's bubbler/fountain and that a guy would be going in there, so I told him to have his man look for discs, too.  I kinda doubt we'll see any of them, but its worth a shot!

Also, my cousin John lost a Viper on Hole 8 (Paul's name on it), if anyone finds it.......

jim

What time are you heading out there?

jim

I have Mark Horn's yellow Dragon which was found last week.

I also have a disc withe the name "LOCUST" on the back of it.

jim

Sorry I didn't stay last night, Brett.  But I am glad you found it (a dark disc in the dark nonetheless)!  Woo-ho!

I lost a yellow Valkyrie on #8 in the snow today. It is on the right hand side of the path leading to the basket. I would say it is more in the direction of #8 orange alternate but not that far over but in that general flight path line.

Also, a white Valkyrie on #1. It is on the west side of the water north of the basket.

Many in the pond on #5 & #9

What a great day to play. It was very nice out but I got so pissed that I left. I couldn't throw worth @#$%. I actually think i'm getting worse. Oh well. I saw chud's blue disc sinking into the ice on #5. It will be gone soon. I lost another disc on #7 back in the rough by the bend. SE Leopard. I don't care if I get it back or not. I was just experimenting because I was throwing so bad. It got worse all right. A lost disc. I did see a cool scene of death on #8. Back on the left side of the fairway there was a goose head & its skeleton remains. Something ate it. It looked very cool!!

Mirth,

Sorry I must have been mistaken. It is on #5 about 40 feet out. It submerged in the ice. It is barely visible. Sorry.

Found Valkyrie on #8. Thanks Jim or whoever found it. Still missing Valkyrie on #1. Probably will show up in spring when the leaves start to disapper from the rough. Still have a lot in the pond. Anyone from the club a certified scuba diver? That would be sweet. They could find a whole bunch o discs!!!

Nice work!!! How far out were they? We have to discover a method for recovering discs from the pond.

I lost a neon green ce valkyrie on tuesday. I threw it in the pond on #9. I'm not sure how far out it went but I think it may be gone forever. I say we drain the pond & get tons of discs or find a certified scuba diver to go get em.
