Week 10 of Winter League this week takes place at Adler. Two rounds on the concrete tees. Ace pool starts at $298.  That is right, $298

I really thing the league should consider setting a cap on the ace fund at $300 or some other amount deemed appropriate. It's no fun for the collective group when 1 person walks away with all of the money. It's already a very generous amount.
What do others think?

When I saw Mitch's post I thought we had a cap already.  I recalled prior discussions.  I think I remembered that IOS rolls over to a second fund.  There was discussion a few years ago and the consensus seemed to be that $150 was plenty high for a cap. http://discontinuum.org/index.php?option=com_smf&Itemid=26&topic=1540.0  However, it seems that nothing ever came out of it other than an IOS cap.  This really does not conern me as I am an ace virgin.  However, a cap seems reasonable and the current $298 seems to be either at, near or past the number wherer a second fund should be considered.

Tho I am all for a HUGE ace pot at a local league, I do agree that there should be a cap sometime.

It goes into spring league.  Just like the ace that didn't get hit in fall league went into winter league.

I haven't heard of any aces.  League is going to be at Bevier next week.

It is the first week of spring league. Spring league is 12 weeks long rotated between 3 courses.

The ace fund starts at $307.00 tomorrow.

Spuds-  No Aces today. Next week league is going to be at Warren Township Center and the ace pool is going to start at $320.
