Good luck....   I've been wanting to buy a Vision for awhile but haven't found anyone who sells.  Because they are made out of the US, they aren't cheap

I want to try the Halo Opto.  Pitner, I know you already have like 9000 discs and I'm not saying you should stock up on Latitude 64, but I'm not saying that you shouldn't stock up on Latitude 64.  All I'm saying is that I'd be purchasing a Halo Opto and maybe a Core and maybe everybody else would too.

I'm throwing mostly Lat 64 discs and have most of what they currently offer  in one form or another. Any comparison of price has to take into account that Lat 64 doesn't really do a "baseline" plastic so one needs to compare Opto to Champ style plastics and Gold to Star.

If you're coming out to Randall Oaks for the club challenge the 28th, I'm planning on being there for show and tell should anyone be interested.

I am sponsored with these guys. and if you like these discs and want them at a discounted price?  go to essentialdiscs.com and order as many as you need. They stock Lat 64 very well.  in the coupon code, type in PAYNE, and receive a 10% discount on your initial purchase. They have all disc brands but Innova.  I would appreciate it very much.

I throw the Opto Line Pain( had to try)  ;D    like it alot. It's just a Overstable roc, in a Champion type see thru plastic. skips well if thrown right.

I also have a Vision in my bag, and this disc holds a turn very nice. I like it for the 300-330' turnover shot. even pulled out an unexpected roller with it today(thanks to Mortons wind on 18.

The discs are not very expensive at all compared to other brands.

I throw GL Cores, they are like flippier, glidier Buzzes.  They are not so good in the wind though.

I have also thrown a River, Diamond, Halo, Fuse, and Core all in Opto line plastic.

The Diamond is flippy simply because of the weight.  The River and Halo I am not powerful enough to throw backhand, so I can't really judge them fairly.  The River does seem to be a perfect balance of glide and stability.

Dan, I am willing to sell the Opto Line Halo if you want it.

Are you mixing up discs here? The River doesn't need much power to be a very useful disc. I carry a pair of GLs, light and heavy, for when accuracy/workability are priority over distance. Lately I've been enjoying the River forehand as well even though it's not particularly fast or stable. When distance becomes more of priority, I go the River's big brother, the Flow.

Good point Dag, I was mixing up the flight ratings on the Flow and the River.  I may have to give the River another try.  The Flow would be a little too fast for my preference.
