The Springfield Disc Golf Club outdid themselves this year.  They couldn't control the weather but everything that they could control was top notch. 

At Douglas Park there was a nice island hole for the pros. The player's packs were excellent.  For everyone that signed up early, there was a very nice  from Paragon.  The courses were in excellent shape, the awards ceremony ran smoothly, and the after tourney meal was great.

One of the fun things that happened prior to the awards ceremony was a CTP. What made it unique is that the basket was surrounded by plastic bins with one disc in each bin.  The person closest to the bin got to keep the bin and the disc.  This was a nice touch to make the wait time between the end of the event and the awards ceremony go quickly.

This is absolutely an event that the Springfield crew can be proud of in every way.
