Played the 2nd rd w/ him. He sure can crush the disc!
He had clean deliveries on 20 out of 22 holes. Sure makes it look easy on the West course infested w/ trees. He had the best round of everyone there to walk away w/ the W. Just 1 stroke behind hereen.  Glassman got 2nd while the rest struggled w/ the trees. Congrats Dave. Luck sure was your lady.

I really liked the new longer pin positions on the newer course.  Really toughened the course up quite a bit.
Hole 1 is a really tough deuce now and if you make an errant drive, its alot tougher to save your par.
Hole 2 is a cool shot and is that much better with the pin a little further back.
Hole 3 is WAY better than that fluky skip hyzer shot.  A nice control ~340 footer straight ahead.
Hole 6 a 444 footer downhill, tough to find a line though.  I like it better than that 90 degree angle that thumbers loved to the right though.
Hole 7 is a great pin.  You really have to make 2 high quality shots to get a birdie 3 now.
Hole 9, maybe not the greatest change since 2's will be hard to come by, but 3 still relatively easy. It is deucable as I saw a roller get right up there.
Hole 11, not a huge fan, kind of fluky.
Hole 12, much better.  Takes 2 long drives to get a 3 on this 750 footer.
Hole 13 much better as not many were deucing the short pin.  Now its a tougher 3.
15 and 17 also much tougher deuces now.

Look forward to playing that layout again.

Anyone else think the round ratings for the West (newer)  course were a little low?  Thats a pretty tough layout there.
Vibram Disc Golf, Ledgestone Insurance, Paragon and Whirld Sports are all cool. Real cool.

The results indicate that Pros played on the West course in the morning and Ams played the West course in the afternoon.  Is this right?

They don't seem way off to me.  I think the scores were a little bunched together for that course causing the ratings to be a little lower than a higher rated person might expect.  I think this is caused by a larger number of holes that might be considered "par 3.5", meaning very few pros were taking birdies on the holes, but even the ams were typically taking 3's.  Take Hole 1 in that back position, there were probably alot fewer 2's on that hole than previously, but maybe not that many more 4's.  I think there were probably more than a handful of these holes.  They were really fun to play, but perhaps weren't as efficient at spreading scores than the easier deuce holes were.
