What should the amateur player expect at this tournament for his entry fee?

So, to get things back on track how about I bump up my original question? This is a great opportunity for the guys putting on this event to highlight what they have planned. Thanks!

Last I knew they were still discussing the contents of the players packs, I just promote the tourney on other forums. To find out try posting your question here:  http://grabm.proboards.com/index.cgi?

The baskets are in tournament positions now, for those who want to practice.

Thanks. I like to ask to find out what other tournaments are doing and because I know guys here want to know what to expect if they go. Sometimes I'm a little hesitant to post questions like that on other boards because often people think that my motive is to spam or flame but it is really just knowledge.

I plan on going up there to play this Thursday. I'll write them down and post them, unless someone beats me too it.

Basket 11 on the west course was stolen a week ago, so keep your ears open.

After seeing the weather forecast I plan on going to this one. Rockford and Sterling are pretty Parks. Any word on the players pack yet Duain?

Did intermediate play from different tees than the open players?

The pro payout doesn't seem to add up if it is based on $52 per player ($55 - $3 PDGA fee) plus $500 added.

Obviously the intermediate players played opposite courses. Thus their first round scores correlate with the second round pro scores and the second round intermediate scores correlate with first round pro scores. Obvious discrepancy upon a cursory inspection. Also, averaging less than 1000 rated rounds wins open.  ::)

duain

Advanced, Open, and juniors played the east course 1st and west course 2nd. All others played west course 1st and east course 2nd, that's why the ratings look different per round/division.

As for pro payouts, its $37 off after adding all open and masters up then subtracting what they won from total. I know it was readjusted at the tourney to be correct, but I'm a volunteer I don't handle payouts.
