I'm not a big NFL follower but I enjoy a good match up and as a person who really doesn't get excited for football games, this one has got me goin.  I'm pumped to see this rivalry go down tonight. Go Bears!

Well that was a different game than I thought it would be. Not really surprised that they lost (it is the Packers in their own house) but just that it wasn't an offensive showcase for both teams. Disappointed that the O line still sucks. Disappointed that the Bears still can't seem to make adjustments in the game plan on the fly. Disappointed. Ugh.

You're right about the need for in game adjustments.  With Marshall being double covered on most pass plays, the other recievers should have had single coverage.  Of course none of that matters when the O-line plays the way it did.

Lost the turnover battle 4-2, gave up a fake FG for a TD, and had zero protection for Cutler all night long.  The only thing that is surprising is that the Bears only lost by 13!

Either the Bears defense has improved quite a bit from last year (unlikely), or the GB offense is not playing very well right now.  This division could be pretty wide open this year.

It was not just the O line that sucked last night.  It was the entire offense.  Even when Cutler had time, he still managed to throw poorly and 1 even went for an INT.  Marshall dropped a TD that hit his hands!  The other receivers barely managed to get open while Marshall had at least 2 guys stuck on him most of the game.

I could go on, but I'd rather just forget about last night as quickly as possible.   >:(

On the bright side, we have the Rams coming to Chicago next week.

A few days behind being out of town. How was this game not a huge blowout? This should have been a Packers 35/42 killing. Hopefully the Bears bounce back. Everything that could go wrong did go wrong. Hopefully the rematch is much better than this let down.

12 man on the field challenge that gave the Packers a first down and 3 points.
Fake field goal for TD. This was the play of the game.
The game could have easily been 0-0 going into halftime.
Marshall TD dropped.
8 penalties for 65 yards.
4 Jay Cutler Picks.
Matt Forte out most of 2nd half.

The Packers offense is definitely not the same as it was thru the season last year. Hopefully that changes of my fantasty team is effed!

I'm thinking its going to be a 70 or 80 point game and it will come down to a field goal in the last seconds by Gould to put the Bears ahead for the win!

Looks like the Bears are struggling and are turning to the general public for help:

Bears defense has been shockingly good this year.  Rams just 160 total yards on Sunday.  Bears offense has been not-so-surprisingly inconsistent, and once again looked rough on Sunday.

I expect the Bears to lose next Monday night @DAL, but would not be suprised if they win.  Both teams look pretty inconsistent right now.

Only undefeated teams remaining are Arizona, Houston, and Atlanta.  Its still early, but Houston and Atlanta look like they'll be awfully tough to get by this year if they end up with home-field advantage.

Being 2-0 against crappy teams is way better than being 0-2 against crappy teams. :D

I wasn't expecting this much out of the front 4 on D. That has gone a long way in helping the rest of the defense.

The offence always seems like its on the verge of turning the corner and getting good. The corner is much longer than I had anticipated. I'm not sure what to expect in the game against Dallas. I haven't seen Dallas play yet this year.

2-1 start is as expected.

How long are they going to use the Hester experiment on offense? He's a terrible WR and taking reps away from qualified WR's that can catch the ball. I really wish we had Knox to go along with this group.

This division is down right tough. Can't believe MN beat SF yesterday.

I thought the same thing during the opening game when Hester was listed as the #2 starting WR ahead of Bennett and Jeffery.  What does Hester have to do to prove he's a terrible WR?  He's just plain awful, and now we actually have some options.  Through 3 games he has 2 catches for 27 yards, ranking 6th on the team.  He can't run a route and he can't catch the ball.  He's also not the sharpest tool in the shed.  I don't want to see him lining up on offense ever.  Not even for a reverse or a WR screen.  Marshall is much better suited for those plays.  I'd be fine if they just cut Hester.  He's not worth anything close to the money he gets paid.  Let somebody else return kicks.

I'm afraid that Knox won't play professional football ever again.

Hester is frustrating. You know that they tell him every week in practice like a thousand times that when he's returning the ball to just follow his blocks and run up field. Almost all of his returns for TDs he got doing just that. Almost none of his returns for TDs were done by reversing course, running backwards for 20 yards and all of that bull shit. On the other hand he has a gift for speed, acceleration and elusiveness that you can't teach and is so much fun to watch when it happens.

I wouldn't mind if Hester was listed as number two to appease his ego as long as the Bears didn't feel it necessary to keep him in the game at WR so much. The fan in me likes the guy because of what he's done with his kick returns and I've never been one to really care how much any player gets paid. But I can tell you that as a fan I don't recall any great catches he's made. Ever. I do remember some great returns though!

I'm sure we'll see Hester playing cornerback by the time the Bears are done trying to get him involved.

I'd be willing to give him a crack at Left Tackle.

My prediction for tonight's game...Bears 17, Dallas 16.  Hopefully I do better with this prediction than I did with the Bears-Packers prediction.

My honest feeling...Dallas 31  Bears 16.  Hope I'm wrong bigtime.

But we've got JAX next week, so things should be okay!

I really need to go into the game thinking the Bears can. I figure they will only win a low scoring close game. Go Bears!
