Odd days to play a T on ?

Would you /could you play an ICE BOWL T on MLK day  ?

Would you /could you play a Tournament on Good Friday ( march 29 2013  ) ?

Would you /could you play a Tournament on   Friday ( July 5 th  2013  ) ?

Would you /could you play a Tournament on   Black  Friday (  Nov  29 2013   ) ?

July 4 th  Memorial Day and Labor Day  ?  seems disc T's stay away from these Holidays

I would play a tournament on any of these days as long as they (like most) are structured well enough to allow for family time (July 4/Memorial/Labor day)

Personally, Im surprised there havent been more on the 4th and Memorial Day and have them used as fundraisers

MLK Day is the least likely as its a work day for me.  Black Friday is the most  likely. I like that weekend. That's one of the reasons I have been to all but one of Terry's Cold Turkeys. The others would depend on my plans.  They would certainly be good options, especially July 5.

Dana did something last minute last year on MLK day down at Pine Hills. Light turnout but pleasant day.

Its hard to secure permission at public parks during the July 4th, Memorial and Labor Day weekends. Its not impossible at all parks for all days so its worth looking into. You're always going to lose some players because of family obligations but then you pick up some players that have to work weekends but get holidays off.
