Aces and Chains is proud to present this B-Tier PDGA sanctioned tournament.

Two 18+ hole rounds at Highland Park, in Joliet, IL.

Highland Park is one of the toughest courses in the Joliet area. It is fast becoming a favorite with local tournament players. Playing thru a mostly wooded course, with shots requiring various shapes and lines, down into & over ravines, Thru young woods and old, with a high risk/reward ratio, it will test your mental and physical capabilities. Tee boxes are cement.

Pre-registration is highly encouraged. By pre-registering, you help us run a smoother tournament. Pre-register at http://www.acesandchains.com/node/790 or in person at the shop at 1706 W. Jefferson St. in Joliet.

If you Pre-register, you will get one tournament stamped disc of your choice from a large selection of tournament discs past and present, along with other goodies. Walk ups will receive an Aces and Chains gift card along with some goodies. It's definitely to your benefit to pre-register!

Day of Registration (if spots are available) and Check-In will be between 8am-9am both days. Please check in when you get there.

Players meeting will be held at 9:15am. Tee off at approx. 9:30am. Players will meet by the parking lot at tournament headquarters.

A few other tidbits:

Pro fee is $60 + Ace and CTP + $10 if you are not a current PDGA member. It is a B-Tier, so payout should be good.

And, just to be clear, only the Ams receive a players pack.

Sorry to stir here, but aren't B tiers supposed to be 100 miles apart?

Yes they are supposed to be 100 miles apart. Terry and I hadn't compared our schedules and I didn't catch the conflict until after both were posted on pdga.com.

If it's Joliet and Kenosha, they are 98 miles apart on map quest and if you take US-41 it's 106 miles. But I see where some players will have to make a choice where to go and some would maybe like to play in both.

I certainly don't have a problem with it. Kenosha is far enough away that I doubt it will affect my turn out much, if at all.
