2013 Trinity Links Point Series

hey everyone.  it is this time of year that the Trinity Links Point Series is going on.  This year all 7 events will be a PDGA C Tier.  the first event will be on April 28th. 

Here is the schedule and some info.  Remember this is to help us raise funds to continue improving the course.  So help us reach our goal of greatness.

The Trinity Links Point Series is looking for sponsors, if you would like to sponsor the series or know of anyone that would like to sponsor the series please talk to Thor Batchelor or Tom Matasevac or Email TrinityLinksDGC@gmail.com

The overall winners of each division will be paid out at the final event and have a chance to win a spot and play in the final 9 for cash skins after the raffle is over. 

Open players will play long and short tee pads and Am Divisions will play two rounds of shorts for the majority of the tournaments if not all with the chance of some long tee pads mixed in a round or alternate tee pads.

All Am Divisions will be $35 for registration and Optional $5 ace fund and $5 CTP fund
Open Divisions price may vary but the first event will be $60 with optional $5 Ace and $5 CTP to make pay outs bigger and better.  .

Attention all disc golfers.   This Sunday April 28th is the Trinity Links Point Sereis First Event of the year.  I know that a lot is going on this weekend but be sure to make the first event so you can get some early points in this series.  all Am divisions will be $35 and all open divisions will be $65 for the first event to maximize payouts.  Optional $5 ace fund and Optional $5 CTP. Registration will open around 7:45 am and close at 9:00 am.  Players meeting around 9:15 and we will tee around 9:30.  again this is the first event and I will not be charging a day off fee since the Pre registration did not open due to an error on my part.  I have figured out what I did wrong and it will be up for the second event.  I am still looking to add sponsors to this point series.  Contact me if you are interested.  If you have any questions please email TrinitylinksDGC@gmail.com or talk to Tom M or myself.  Who is going to make it out to Trinity's first event?

Good timed today Thor & Co. Course was looking good for all the water that was out there!

Event Number one is in the bag.  we had a pretty good turn out considering that an A tier and Lemon Lake had events the same day.  The TD report is in and the scores are posted on line.  had some trouble but figured it out. 

Now it is time to get ready for the second event of the Trinity Links Point Series.  you can Pre Register with Tom M or myself at the course or at leagues in the j town and fox valley area.  All am Divisions are $35 and Open Division is $50 with the optional $5 ace and $5 CTP.  You can also pre register on line once disc golf scene gets it up on line.  I filled out all the info and just waiting now.  The Second event will have a $5 day of fee so make sure you are pre registering.  I am going to keep up with the list of all players pre registered so you can see who is coming.  the first event we had over 40 players and I am guessing the second event will bring more players.   Still a lot of points overall to be won.  Don't miss out on this event.   Remember advance and Open will play one round of long tee pads and one round of shorts.  Intermediate and under will play two rounds of shorts or one round of shorts and one round of alternates.   if you have any questions please email TrinitylinksDGC@gmail.com   Come get you some

don't forget this Saturday is the second event of the point series.  and if you come out Saturday and sign up for the j town disc golf club you get another free c tier at Trinity on Monday if you wish.   hope some of you guys and gals can make it down to check out Trinity and the changes and work that have gone into the course.   please make sure you pre register or email Trinitylinksdgc@gmail.com and let me know you are coming to avoid the day of fee.

Hey everyone June 30th is approaching us in a few weeks.  Sunday June 30th will be the third event of the Trinity Links Point Series.  Remember if you like playing Trinity that this point series is a course fundraiser to help improve and maintain the course. 
All AM Divisions are $35
Open Division is $50
$5 ace fund and $5 CTP fund.
if no ace is hit we will play off for half of the ace fund.

on line registration is not up so I will not charge the day of fee.   the course has two new additions to it thanks to Leo B, Dave K. Twan ( Don't call me Tony) R, Frank G.  Scott C, and I am sure I am leaving other people out.  make sure you come check out the course and help us continue to raise money to improve this great disc golf course.  if you have any quesitons let me know.  Thanks

Hey everyone.  Trinty Links Point Series 4th Event is this weekend on Sunday July 14th.  The 4th event is a non sanctioned event but you will still get over all points for the point series.  If am divisions have more then 10 in each division I will most likely give half cash and half funny money for payout.  Open will be just normal cash payout.  Registration will be from 8:00 to 9:00 and players meeting at 9:15.  if you have any questions let me know.

August 18th. Trinity Links Point Series Event #5.  it is a pdga C Tier ( Mike you can stop sweating now haha) all open divisions are $50 and am Divisions are $30.  $5 ace and $5 Ctp.  Registartion will be 7:30 until 9:00 players meeting at 9:15 and tee time to follow.  If you have not been to the course the stairs on hole four are done and the tee pad looks awesome.  Leo B, Dave K, Anthony aka Twan, Frank G, and others did an awesome job.  Twan and Dave K built the city scene on hole 12.  without your support we would never be able to continue to improve the course to make it better for you to come enjoy.  So thank you for supporting the series and the course and I hope to see you all out on the course.  should be up on the pdga page soon and online registration if I get to it in time.  if not you can always paypal it.  no day of fee.  if you have any questions shoot me an email.  thanks

Taylor I believe Tom was working on that.  if he didn't get it done I will get working on it.
