I was able to play this course on Christmas Eve. Course #45 for me.

Tees-> Grass
Baskets-> Innova Discatchers w/innner chains

This course is marked very well. I was able to find my way around quite easily. The tee signs were not completed yet but each hole will have a tee sign. There are tempory computer printed tee signs on the poles right now. Each tee has a 2X4 embedded in the ground marking the front of the tee.

This course is located on the west side of normal near I55. It's only a few miles off the interstate located by Normal West High School. The park is a very well kept public park. It is a mostly open course with scattered mature trees. There is a good mix of anhyzer/straight/hyzer holes. The wind can make this course play tough. It was very cold & 20+ MPH winds. I shot a -5. That is not good for this course. I could see advanced scores minus double digits. My favorite hole was hole #9. There is a creek 20 feet left of the pin that is ob & anything to the left of the creek is ob as well. There is a fence about 30ft behind the pin that is ob too. The pin is protected to front & right by mature trees & your best option is an anhyzer around trees.

This course is a fantastic practice course. There is only a few spots that you could lose discs. There is 1, 400+ hole & I think another is 500+. If you go the the center of the course you have tons of options of throwing midrange shots to an assortment of baskets.

The land to the south of holes 9 & 10 would've been great for 4 to 6 holes. I wonder if it was off limits.
