2004 Discontinuum Membership Info

Once again, DISContinuum will be offering discounted PDGA memberships through our annual Club and PDGA membership drive.  We are entitled to this since DISContinuum is a PDGA Affiliate Club.

If you are (or are becoming) a DISContinuum Club Member, you may join/renew your PDGA membership for $5 less than doing it on your own. Woo-hoo!
You have the option to simply save the $5cash, or you can opt to pay the full price and make the $5 donation to DISContinuum.  Your choice.

Also, are you interested in becoming a PDGA Certified Official?
If so, you can receive a test booklet through this membership drive and save $10!
Just email me or Mirth BEFORE DECEMBER 5th and we will hook you up, baby!
Of course, this does not guarantee that you will pass the test, but the test is open-book format. C'mon, even I passed it!

DISContinuum club members are entitled to certain discounts (mainly at Discovering the World and PDGA) through the Affiliate Club Program. Specific info to come.

so we've got til yearend or thereabouts? what's the deadline?

If you have received your 2004 PDGA Membership Renewal and Elections package (I received mine yesterday), you have the options of:

a) Completing the Electoral Ballot, completing the renewal, writing a check to DISContinuum, and giving the all these things to myself or Mirth and we'll take care of ya

Completing the Electoral Ballot, completing the renewal, writing a check to the PDGA, and sending it all in yourself (you do not save $5)

c) Completing the Electoral Ballot and sending it in to the PDGA, and completing the renewal and writing a check to DISContinuum and allow us to handle your renewal.

You do NOT have to vote for an Illinois State Representative this year. However, the PDGA Board positions of Coommissioner, Regional Director, Financial Director, and Publicity Director are up for vote.
PLEASE VOTE - every year it is surprising how few people actually do vote, so your vote DOES REALlY COUNT.

New this year is the EAGLE CLUB PDGA membership.
It sure would be nice if you guys all chipped in and got this for me.
It is a lifetime membership and includes the new PDGA jacket.
Only $2000.

Yes, have not sent in because we need 1 more person for affiliate club requirements. I'll wait another few days to see if we can recruit another person or three. If nobody bites, I'll sign up Patrick, but would rather avoid that.
