BEAST has gone NUTS & Which is better: regular or glow X-Clones?

Can't believe the "Beast" was out on the pond Saturday. I always visualize someone walking on water but is was never a guy that big. Either he has big nuts or is missing a few bolts.

Myk: Sure, I have to agree that Innova plastic glows better than Discraft @ nite, but Bill was talking about how the glow mold seems to fly better than the regular mold.

And to be honest, I'd have to agree that in my personal experience I've noticed the same thing - that the glow x-clone flies differently than the standard XC. Maybe it has something to do with the type of plastic thats used?

And another thing... Why are we even discussing the merits of the Glow X-Clone in this thread?!? Other than him going out on the ice to retrieve a brand new disc which happened to be a glow-clone; there's no reason why this should be discussed in this thread, or even this forum!

Methinks I'll be moving these last few posts to the 'Equipment' forum.

Maybe both.  He just bought a new glow Xclone and did not want to part with it after an hour.  While he was out there, he picked up 3 other discs as well.  Whatta guy!

The X-Clone glow is probably the best disc ever made (my opinion is biased). For some reason the glow flies better than the regular plastic on that brand. I miss my glow X_Clone (sob). The evil Lady of the Lake confiscated it.

I have to totally disagree with this statement.  The X-Clone is a fine flying disc, don't get me wrong.  The glow discs put out by Disc craft are really bad though.  If you put an Innova glow disc, like an Eagle (which is better than an X-Clone anyway :P ), next to a Disc Craft glow disc, the Innova one glows brighter and longer.  And we all know what longer means!!!!
