Nominations for Club Officer / Board Positions

Just thought i'd get this started.

I nominated Allan Short for President yestarday but since he doesn't want to do it i'll nominate him for Treasurer

I nominate Brett for President.
I nominate Myk for Secretary.

FYI: Once the new BOD is elected, that new BOD shall appoint Staff (not sure if that was clarified).

I don't really have the time to run the club, but I'll be more than happy to help.  My work schedule makes conducting business for the club a little difficult.

So far Myk & Allan are the only 2 running for positions. I will be making ballots on Saturday so have nominations in by noon on Saturday 01-10-04.

I appreciate the nomination Jim but I have to decline . On my schedule this year is playing approximately 10 PDGA Events, planning & helping run 3 PDGA Events. All of those events eating up entire weekends (Greater Peoria Open & Am Worlds in Des Moines will be a week). I also have my sister & sister-in-laws weddings this summer, a Nascar Race Weekend to Brooklyn, MI, Summer School & Camps, & a week vacation to either Texas or Florida this summer (hopefully planned around a local tournament in either state ).  All of those will be happening in June, July, & August. Oh yeah, I forgot to mention that inbetween all of that finding some time to keep my wife happy . That's a lot of stuff going on. I'll volunteer my time as much as possible to the club & Mirth volunteered to run leagues on the days I cannot attend.

Just kidding.  That's a busy schedule!
I am very interested to hear people's ideas this Sunday, since it looks like we're going to be hard-pressed to get people to hold Officer positions.

I'm planning on playing more this year, but not necessarily PDGA events (except Wisconsin favorites), and plan on keeping my promise to NOT take on too much club stuff this year.
