Tonight I went out to the condemned golf course and threw a white Star Destroyer, white Star Wraith and a white ESP Force, all in the 172-174 range.  Right away I noticed how much less overstable the white Force is compared to the yellow and orange I've thrown previously.  The white Force flew like one of the more stable Surges, which is to say it flew just like the Wraith.  Both were flipping in the head wind; both were straight with a hyzer finish downwind.  The white Destroyer on the other hand was overstable.

They all flew about the same distance.  I was not getting anything extra out of any of them.  My longest drive down wind paced off at 390 and it was the Force, but on many sets the Wraith was longer and into the wind the Destroyer always won.

Left handed they are all equally useless.   ;D

I played a course today that has several holes where you can reach back and throw with reckless abandon.  Unfortunately my Force is white and we had a snowstorm last night.  Whenever we reached one of these holes and I had last honors, I'd go spot so that they'd spot for me.  I was out throwing Darren Harper and Mike Wildner today when i could throw the Force.  When it was Rogue versus Surge versus Wraith or Surge Versus Surge versus Wraith, we were all about the same.

Darren says if the white Forces are straight or maybe even a little flippy they are a mistake.  Darren runs one of the Discraft injection plastic molding machines so he should know.  But I've noticed that white ESP is always a little less overstable ot a little more understable than the discs of color.  My flippy Rogue, flippy Buzzz and former flippy Surge were all white discs.  I sold the Surge right out of my bag during a tournament!

Since the white ESP Forces are a mistake that Darren says they are going to correct, they are no longer reasonably for sale.  Everything is for sale for a price, but the price has suddenly gotten unreasonable.  These are mine.  Maybe you can get one from some TD who doesn't know what he has.   >:D

couple white ones on ebay

i threw one of mine today and it's definitely fast. unfortunately i was at west park and there aren't many long holes and the footing was very poor so i don't even have a good response on what to expect from this disc!

I was throwing my white one out at Willow Brook today while Tracy and I were designing the permanent course.  I was getting a little more out of it than I could get from a Rogue or a Surge, but not a lot more.  But it was the same way when i was throwing the Destroyer and the Wraith.  I think an 11 speed disc does not do much for a player who doesn't throw faster than 9.  11 speed or 12 speed is just potential, like saying this bike can go 29 mph flat.  Yeah, but not with me pedalling it!

This is how we picked basket locations for the redesigned par threes:  we both pumped out a good drive towards where we wanted to put the basket.  Then we put it a little bit past the better of the two.   ;D  I was putting for birdie all morning long on those holes.

Mark ellis and some others thought we should bring in the par 3s a little to make for more birdie twos so I think the permanent course will be better that way.
