Is anybody planning on putting up their Destroyer for this?

if it is fast enough, while playing this winter i relized that i could/possibly would throw all discraft if there max distance driver went as far as a wraith or destroyer, the surge hasnt done that for me....i also hope that it is stabler than the Surge

I'm also in that situation, I'd love to throw all discraft, but I can't get rid of my destroyers just yet, we'll see how this thing flies.

well, with a stability of 2 from discraft, that makes their most stable high speed driver (not counting drone for this comparison).  By comparison the Surge is 1.7, Crush 1.8, Pulse 1.9.  People frequently compared a Pulse to a TeeRex, so something slightly more stable and faster than a TeeRex is probably gonig to be a comparison to the Force - which would also be the same description used on a Destroyer.

Seemingly has promise, although the promo email that I received about the disc was just sad lol.  "A short time from now in a basket far, far away" in the Star Wars intro lettering?  c'mon, at least come up with something better lol :)

You still might want your Destroyer for a headwind.

IMHO The Force would have been a better name for a disc that you thread through the trees (ala Endor or the channels of a DeathStar) than something only used out in the open.

At least they didn't say "this disc travels at lightspeed!"

"when 900 years old you reach, look as good you will not, hmm?"

A friend in Michigan told me the pros were flipping the protos into a headwind, and they did not come back.  What kind of pros and how bad of a headwind were not information he shared, so take it for what it is worth.

The word I heard from Arizona is that they are stable and long.  For most players they will fly longer than a Destroyer because they won't fade as hard.

Is this a joke? I started putting my Destroyer back in the bag last year any time there was a hint of wind. That disc is so flippy in the wind. Well, maybe flippy isn't the word for it. It's not easy to get it to turn over, but once it does you pretty much lost your shot because it doesn't come back.

After throwing them, I think the Force is more overstable than the Destroyer.

Most of the reviews out there right now are very conflicting.  It looks like there is a lot of variation within the Forces.  From what I'm hearing, the lighter ones are overstable, and the heavy ones are flippy.  Must be something about the way that the dome sets up or something.  I'm sticking with the destroyer.  If I'm throwing into enough of a headwind that it flips a Destroyer on a hyzer line, I should probably just be throwing a teebird or firebird and keeping it on the fairway anyways.

Somehow my original post isn't showing up so here's my experience with the Force.

The proto Forces fly pretty straight and flip in a headwind (similar to my experiences with the Destroyer).  The production run Forces are pretty overstable.  I've got 3-4 of them and they are all 173-174 and are very fast and pretty overstable.  I haven't been able to flip mine yet without them coming back.  I played this weekend in Libertyville and it s-curved on the 400' hole # 7 with a 20-25 mph headwind.  I look at the Force as a faster, slightly less stable MAX right out of the box.  I completely trust it into a headwind and it is great for bomb hyzers.  Perhaps when it gets beat up a little up it will be a max distance driver but right out of the box, you really have to work to make it fly the 450' I can get out of my surge on a good shot.

Below is a review from one of my sponsored players. With the weather, I've not had a chance to check one out for myself, but here's what he says:

Just had to let you know... I checked out the Force 174 today against my Destroyer and Teerex 175s. It holds a line nearly as straight as a Teerex and cuts through fierce headwinds like a knife. Both upwind and downwind it easily gave me a shade more distance than either the Teerex or Destroyer. Though nothing will ever get the Teerex out of my bag, this disc is a marvel and could easily replace my Destroyer for super-mega-big-D when laserbeam straightness is not needed. Thank you again!

I wait to see what the discs do during tournament season. I was standing on hole #9 at Granite Ridge at Highbridge last year. Player in my group throws a bomb about 25 short of this 500foot hole in a stiff wind. I was like damn, was that a Wraith? He goes heck no, I just picked up a Destroyer last night. I went out the next day and bought one.

LOL, He's a kid out of California, J. McGinty. The reason I call him a customer on my eBay store, is if I say the word sponsored, I'll get 15 little kids asking me to sponsor them & they all want to know what they would get free. Hope this clears up any confusion for you?
