The rough ratings look nice until you consider that a 930+ player had a little frustration and played  lefty for a while and had a sub 800 round.  I suspect he wouldn't do that in a sanctioned tournament and that would certainly have an effect on the projected ratings.  That being said, my round felt like it projected above.

Take Dan out and the ratings drop about 5-8 points

When I saw the scores and saw that I, who had played fair, had scored ahead of you, surprised, I asked what was up with that. Somebody said, "he played lefty." Based on the score I figured that was the case.  Of course we all know that I should not assume because, well, you know what it makes of you and I.   Nonetheless, it appeared to be a reasonable assumption as I would surmise that you would beat me most times even if you did play lefty.  Clearly, you had a lousy day.  Lousy to the point where your round would not have been counted even if it was a sanctioned event as it is more than a couple of standard deviations from your rating.  Lousy to the point where you had an 8 point effect on the way rounds would have been rated.  Sorry you had such a bad day.  Get it out of your system and blow them away in your next sanctioned tournament. I will not bother to watch the DVD.  I am not on it and you were not worth watching on that day.  I will watch, and enjoy,  the video when you win your next tournament.
