Ace today!

Aced no. 12 from the long tee at Baraboo today. 270 ft slightly downhill and to the right. Wish I could have seen it. The basket is behind two evergreen trees. It did sound nice though. Oh ya, it was my first skip ace.

Diron, I used a pro line Banshee. If the course doesn't exist I must have been having a flashback. It wich case....... cool man.

Jim, the course has a lot of trash on it. Somebody did try to clean up a little. They did empty the trash containers since last week though. Now if only they were used more.
It wouldn't hurt to level out the rubber mats too.
Still, all in all, a nice place to spend an afternoon or two. And it's closer to where I'm staying than Beaver Dam (also a nice course). I'm sure to go back next week.

I'll have to take a look at the course this weekend. I'll out that way and thought about playing in Madison but I heard the courses are all closed. I'll make sure to take the drive to Baraboo.

Baraboo is hosting an event in June, the weekend after the Prairie Open. Baraboo Open
I'm planning on going to play if anyone else is interested let me know.

Nice going on the ace's for the year.. I have got 2 this year already also.  Just got an e-mail that today was a work day at Elver, If I got it sooner I would have posted something about it, heard that there is lots of broken glass on the tee pads.  maybe the city should remove the concrete pads, that would teach the bottle breakers.  I think the Tim's, Paul and myself will be at Token one of these next few Saturdays.  I'll keep you posted.
