New disc specs

Did you see the announcement about the change in disc specs?  The no-metal rule is being changed to allow for embedded electronic devices.

Should be interesting. I wonder which manufacturers will come out with light-up discs this Christmas. Too bad quest has been so marginalized. I'm sure we'd something pretty creative from them.

I'm more interested in the disc that beeps, the disc that tells your cell phone where it is, and the disc that tells everyone in the foursome that this dude found someone's disc and has made no effort to give it back.
