SPRING ROAD TRIP!

Friday, May 1st - Sunday, May 3rd, 2015
Standing Rocks Open in Stevens Point, WI, B/C Tier PDGA event.

I usually stay at the AmericInn in Plover, which is 10 minutes away from the course.
Decent rooms, lots of restaurants and the Oso Brewery right across the street.
There are other hotels and Lake Emily offers fine camping too.

This tourney is always FUN, with deep payouts and a good player's package.
The courses are fantastic (great mix of mostly woods and some open with lots of elevation to deal with).
The people are friendly, the atmosphere is relaxed, and Central Waters Brewery always sponsors the weekend.

Plan ahead because this event always fills a few weeks early.

I just registered for the SRO.
$2.50 off internet registration until Feb. 1st.
I urge everyone to try and make this event.

Randy asked me to spread the word that SRO is already 30% filled.
He expects it to fill earlier than ever, perhaps by March 1st.

I know there are TONS of events this year, including the Crazy Beaver    but Standing Rocks Open is one you want to attend.

Great tournament & fun courses. I got lucky the 1 year I went up. Sunny and short weather all weekend. Too early in the season for me. That event is notorious for brutal spring weather.
