Since there isn't league this Sunday...2 rounds of nine holes off the concrete tees. I was thinking primarily of Buzz vs. Roc, but any blunt edged weapon will do (ask me for approval beforehand). Select one disc and one disc only, single play. I will write down the kind of disc and weight that each person has selected to throw. In the event of a lost or unplayable disc, the player will select the next closest disc that they have or can borrow and continue play. Normal penalties apply for lost disc, stuck in a tree, etc. A disc that becomes unplayable because it breaks into pieces or because the flight plate breaks would not have a penalty--unless, of course it is broken out of bounds, stuck in a tree, etc.

We can do bag tags, side bet or whatever anyone wants to do.

I will give away one of the Cryztal Z Challengers either as a CTP or to the winner. Please post here if you want to play--if there is no interest, I'll do something else that day.

I was thinking of running a California challenge but since you posted this before I made my post I'll defer to you Jon.

A one disc sounds kinda fun, and make it for tags!

I thought this might be a fun alternative for those of us that aren't going to Peoria. I don't think I'd consider a Beast to be a blunt edged weapon.

Jon, you should check with your buddy Rick Rothstein to see if he wants some pics, if you aren't doing anything this weekend.

I only take pictures at events that I would otherwise be going to anyway. I can't pay my motel bill with t-shirts and hats!  ;)

Mirth, Myk, Jay, Jon, are planning on being there. Jojo? Airspuds? Anyone else? Shawn you said you might be interested--haven't seen you out at The Bev in a while. You are welcome to kick our arses with your Rocs!  :P

Winner gets the Cryztal Z Challenger!

Shall we do it like the bag tag challenges? $2 ace pool and a bag tag and you're in?

I would love to come "school" you all with my Proto Mojo, however my brother is getting married next month, and this weekend myself, Trisha and the rest of the wedding party is going camping.  Hopefully we will be able to play a few courses that we havent yet played, one looks like its right next door!!!

Maybe next time...there has to be a chance for me to throw that damn disc :D

I'm planning on playing at Baraboo this weekend, but if plans change, I think I'd like to take part in this challenge. I'll let you know for sure tomorrow afternoon.

180g DX Roc would be my arsenal

My mother is up from Florida, so I'll be up in Milwaukee...possibly a early round on Sunday at Sussex.

I'm always up for a 1 disc challenge @ Parkside if anyone is interested.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

Place, name, score, disc thrown

1st, Jason, -1, 170g Roc
2nd, Adrian Jr., Even, 174g Roc
3rd-5th, Jon, Al, Kevin, +2, 176g Buzzz, 180g Roc, 168g MRV (respectively)

We had no lost discs and I think everyone had fun. I thought Adrian had a good shot at winning it after the first nine since he had a 1 stroke lead.

He had a 1 stroke lead... I was -1 after the front nine. Adrian Jr was also throwing a Roc, although I don't know what weight.
