The days are getting shorter, but the adventures are still out there.  I posted this on the Evanston Bicycle Club website.  Yeah, its early in the morning and yeah, its likely to be cold.  We have done this ride for the past three years and it is way cool.  It is a slow paced ride of less than 20 miles:

12/18 Sat 5:00AM    20 S  Winter Solstice Concert-Remote Start- Dunkin'Donuts at Howard and Western~ David Barish
 The concert starts at 6am with percussionists Michael Zerang and Hamid Drake building the rhythm and momentum while surrounded by votive candles on the floor of the darkened room.  As they play the sun slowly filters light into the room.  Do not miss this experience.  We ride to the show on the shortest days of the year.  Breakfast at Ann Sather after the show.  Lights are needed for the ride in.
