Nice game by Dan's Super Bowl pick yesterday.  To quote Mr. Michler, "Peyton Manning can't be stopped."  Nice 0-7 record against the Patriots, Peyton.

dude i couldn't have been more disappointed hany.  WTF was up with the WR dropping everything?  everytime they got going they would have their drive stalled out by a dropped pass, a sack, or a 3 yard loss on a run.  horrible game.  i'll admit i was wrong about Indy.  they were not as good as i thought.  NEW PICKS!!  philly over atlanta  23-9.   NE over PITT  24-21.

I'll agree with those two picks.  I think the Pats are going all the way again this year.  Bellicheck is a genius coach.  Pittsburgh looked like crap last weekend and the NFC is a second tier league this year.

I'm going with Atlanta & Pittsburgh

The Colts lost for the same reason all indoor teams have lost in the playoffs since the beginning of Professional Football(except the Rams a couple of years ago, but they had home field advantage through out the playoffs didn't they). Football is an outdoor game. When the weather gets bad all that passing the football and not running the football = a loss. Playoff football is all about running the football, the play action pass, and finally and most important Defense.

New England vs Atlanta
and New England wins another Super Bowl.

With this reasoning that you so eloquently gave, WHY pretell did you pick Atlanta (indoor team) to beat the favored Eagles (home team in cold weather)?

Because my son became an Eagles fan the day they beat the Bears in the 2001 playoffs  . So therefore I can never  I can never pick the Eagles to win ever again. Other than that no reason.
