I'm always looking for ways to practice instead of just playing rounds that are not tag rounds.

Yesterday I played a game I call 3 disc.
You must throw 3 drives on a hole. These must include a driver, mid-range, & putter. You cannot throw the disc that you play on the next shot. For example, hole 1 at Libertyville. I threw a CE Valk, Roc, & Avair. My best shot was a Roc so I could not throw the Roc again. I had to chose between the putter & driver for my next shot. I threw my putter for my 2nd shot. On my third shot I had to putt with my driver. Any more that 3 shots & it resets back to use of 1 of the 3 discs.

I also play putter only rounds, rollers on every tee shot, roc only rounds with a putter for putting. Long catch helps too. I've putted about 300 putts this week.

The woods at Libertyville are great for practice. I shot Rocs thru the tight tunnels near the school. Not holes 2,3,4 but the paths in the woods near Milwaukee. 4 dear were surprised I was back there  .

Anyone have any fun practice games or ways to have fun with practice?

worst shot really improved my game over the summer, to bad I didn't keep up with it

self-explanitory.

you shoot twice, take the worst one, shoot twice, take the worst one, etc. untill you make both your putts from the "worst lie"

if I recall correctly par was my best on 9 at adler playing this way, it's really frustrating,  so it teaches you to rise above shitty situations, and come up with a good shot

For putting Fred V. and Sean B. taught me this modification of horse.  You have three shots from one place that you choose.  You count how many you make and than the next person has to do the same shot three times.  Whatever the difference between the two is equals the amount of letters that the person gets.  So if I make two and Sean makes three, than I recieve a letter regardless of who selected the shot.

For about the last two months when I have been playing practice rounds I play driver vs. midrange. I tee off with a driver and then a Roc, then play out both shots on each hole.  And much to my surprise for the last couple of weeks I have done a point or two better with the midrange discs.

1) worst shot with 2 different kinds of discs
2) one disc the whole round-helps me get to know and break in a new disc.
