Where have all the PDGA members gone?

How come there are so many previous PDGA members that have not registered for membership yet this year?  Is there a boycott of some kind that I'm not aware, or does it take awhile to process everyone?

A lot of people re-up at their first tournament.  I'll re-up in Bowling Green this weekend.

On PDGA radio they said renewals are way above normal compared to past years.
