ridin' and throwin'

On Sunday, August 14 at 8 am, I will be leading a ride with the Evanston Bike Club. (www.evanstonbikeclub.org) It is a disc golf ride.  This is the day the advanced and pros play at Streamwood, so I will not see any of them.  

The ride will be about 30 miles round trip and will proceed at a moderate pace of about 12-14 mph.  We will leave the Chandler Center in Evanston (right across from Evanston Hospital).  The ride will go up the Greenbay Trail to the course in Glencoe.  We will get a bite to eat in Glencoe and then ride up to Fink Park.  After playing Fink we will return to Evanston.  

There is plenty of parking on Lincoln Street just south of the Chandler Center.

so are you just throwing a few discs in a backpack?

I don't really need to many for these 9 holers. . However , I will likely take the whole bag and throw in some extra putters for the bike club people. Quad shocks will make this easier to do but I will still get a pretty good workout.

sounds like a cool idea.  i think yall should throw the discs while ur riding the bikes though!
