Westchester--> Mayfair Park

Very short & flat beginner course. Quite a few obtacles with a stream as a water hazard. Grass tees.

I got to build westchester as my eagle project and so i must defend it but i relize it's shortcomings. By boy scout troop is from westchester so that was the place to do it. Hopefully my next course can make at least some of you guys shoot over par. Hole 4 my first ace 10-26-05.

oh, so YOU'RE Jason lol.  I know I had met you one day out on that course with your family, but I don't think I ever caught a name.  Then I bumped into you at Lombard in the morning of the Pro/Advanced day.

This course has actually worked out quite well in introducing a bunch of new people to the game of disc golf.  Surprisingly, it has even eaten some discs (dyed red/green Champ Stingray, on embankment on other side of creek from sour drive on 2... had name/number, dyed champ orc - overthrew the basket on hole 3 and went somewhere on the embankment... z-crush, co-worker sidearmed a disc on 1 just practicing and it went really far and really right... lost site of it around the building, never saw it again).  There are 10 people from my work that have all gone out and played disc golf, and 9 out of 10 of those people had their first taste of it at Westchester.  8 out of those 9 still play quite regularly.

Amazingly, none of us have hit an ace yet.  I've chained out on hole 9, but I don't think anyone else has come closer than that on anything else, just lots of near misses.  I'm hoping to deuce hole 7 someday... it's the longest and only one that I haven't been able to achieve it on.  Our groups low score on the course is a 21.  next lowest is 23 or 24 I think.
