Saturday, Feb. 9th -I'll be getting out for Skins today - looks gray and damp, but warm.  I'll be there between  1 & 1:30.  Come on out and get whomped!

Good Skins round today! Congrats to Shawn on his ace on #9 and Beast for his ace on #5 during casual play! Huge, guys! Thanks to all who came out!

Sorry I didn't make it out today (March 2nd) - the snow and overtime at work kept me away.  Who made it out and who won?

Originally, Summer Skins was not in the plans, but several people have requested a weekend league of some sort. So, we'll have to choose format, day, and time. And we'll have to work around the 2 Juniors leagues on Sat mornings.

May I suggest:

Saturdays - 1:30pm - Rotating Shot

  Rotating Shot would alternate the type of game each week, e.g., Week1=Best Shot, Week2=Worst Shot, Week3=Alternate Shot, Week4=Individual play, Week5=Wolf, etc.

Sundays - 9:30am - Individual League

These can be simply pickup games or we can do stats and ace pool for money/prizes.  What do y'all think?

MAtt, Adrian, Cindy, and myself showed up for skins Saturday. Adrian brought a shovel and cleared off the tee pads, but it was snowing so hard that by the time we left they were covered again. Adrian lost a tye-dye on #6, and was bummed out majorly. We decided to just play a casual 9 because of the weather and everyone else being wimps and not showing up. I mentioned that the ace pool was up to around $90 to Matt, so we each threw about 15 drives each on #4 for practice (with no luck).

Will Saturday skins continue into the spring and summer?  My work schedule doesn't allow me to play at 5:30 on weekdays for leagues, but I would still like to keep up with some competetive rounds.

I like the idea of some kind of rotating shot league on the weekends.  I think the differing games keep things more interesting.  I would vote for this to be casual play.  I think having one paying league and special events with money & prizes involved should be enough.  What is wolf that you mention for week 5?
