It never did either in the old board, unless you clicked on the 'new' link (which exists here too), or on the right side under Last Post, there is this graphic:

Click that to go to the last post in the thread.

Can you change the skins on this Baby?

We use phpBB2 and although I like the functionality of it, there are some features that your new board has that phpBB2 doesn't. 

If there are multiple skins - I could see us changing

Yep, custom themes can be downloaded and/or created. Right now everybody has the ability to switch to the YaBB SE skin. To check it out, go to your profile then go to layout.

I do not see a link to go to the main club website. Am I blind or is it missing?

Hmm, no there isn't. I'll see if I can find a mod/feature that will do this.
