Is it this weekend? The dates on Parkside's club page makes it appear so, but the dates are off (Saturday May 5th & Sunday May 6th).

Shawn, do you have any info? I'm thinking of playing Parkside's & Bevier's WB events, since they are on separate dates....

Kay, I'll make no mention of the possible later date...

I agree that doing it after the 'crete is in is a good idea. I guess he just wants to have it on the actual date of? Who knows?

I probably will play tomorrow, as I have prior obligations on Sunday.

Shit, maybe I should just play the pickle... [img="http://www.rafansrule.org/ubb/icons/icon23.gif"]

Well, I was mostly kidding about the Pickle.... Seeing how I missed the baby shower my mom threw for Beth last Sunday & the shower that her aunt is throwing for her is this coming Sunday, I think my attendance is manditory at this one.

Were you playing @ Bevier on Sunday? I swear I saw you, Chud, and Paul all putting out on 7 when I was driving it... As I was walking up to my drive you three just started walking away... :(

WB on Sat was nice. I didn't want to play anything more organised than just casual play with JoJo & Ken, so we just headed out to the course. Beautiful weather...

I like the idea of throwing over the lake.... which length, from 5 to 9, or from the tennis court side (around alt. 3 & alt 5) to 7?

Nope, still out of town. Hopefully will be leaving noonish tomorrow so I can make leagues! ;)

Hell, yeah, you should play the Pickle!  I am going up to Sheboygan early Sunday morning to play in the Advanced/Pro B-Tier tourney.  It is about 1 hour north of Milwaukee and a TON of fun!  The contests alone are worth the trip. The Amateur day is on Saturday. I have info if anyone wants it!

jim

So, what was Kenosha's WB like?  Good turnout and weather?  Wish I could have made it to Parkside OR the Pickle, but no dice.  Gimme some good news so I can post it baby!

jim

Maybe we can rouse up a few old discs and try some across the lake shots for drama . . . .

jim

You were there?  Sorry, I did not see you at all. Not that my vision was blurred or anything . . . . :-)

As far as accross the lake, there are several possibilities. From tee #7 to basket #2, or from the fishing legend to basket #7; those are my favs.

Are you back in town or not gone yet or still gone?

Ya, for some reason Tony J. told us last week that he was going to do it this coming weekend.  Advance notice is a must for these sort of events, but he told us last freakin week.  So there is no notice posted at the course or anything.  Paul, Craig and myself were planning on doing it AFTER THE CONCRETE was in.  We tried to talk him out of it on Tuesday but he is going ahead with it.  I really do not think that he will get rid of 25% of the packages with that little of notice.  So expect a well oganized one in Late June early July or something like that, only if this one does not go well.  I have family obligations for this weekend or else I would have more info for you.  I'm pretty sure it will be the usaully WB with Sat. random draw doubles around noon? and tourney with trophies on Sunday?  Stop by this weekend and look for the yellow van to find out specific info.  Don't mention anything about another WB later in the year please.  I just don't think it will do well without any notice.  The course is getting some foilage and looking great so go check it out.
Let us hope that the whores of evil no longer loiter on the doorsteps of your path beckoning you into the brothel of despair, and that here and after may present them with the most rigid manistfestation of a firm and manly will.

Not sure about Sunday, but I had a great day playing on Saturday.  I won both double rounds, my putting is coming around again.  I heard that they had lots of ams and 1 pro on Sunday with CTP'S and drawings and stuff.  Looking forward to measureing my distance throw at Bevier's WB and show some newbies some good shots.  I love it when they whisper "holy cow did you see that" or just "woowww."
